Material is matched to the contents rather than used uniformly. Crockery and glass go into double-walled cartons with cellular dividers so pieces never touch; books go into small boxes that stay liftable when full; mirrors, framed art, and TV panels get corner protection and a rigid outer sheet; and mattresses and upholstery go into stitched covers instead of loose wrap that tears in transit. Every carton is labelled by room and by contents, and the fragile ones are marked on all sides rather than just the top, because that is the face nobody sees when it is stacked.
Unpacking is a separate service and worth taking if the new place has to be usable quickly. The crew unpacks room by room in the order you need — kitchen and bedrooms first, storage last — reassembles what was dismantled, and removes all cartons and packing debris when they leave. That last part is the one most people underestimate: a three-bedroom move generates a genuinely awkward volume of cardboard, and disposing of it is otherwise your problem.
