Most moving companies will tell you they pack well. We'll show you exactly how we pack and why our packing quality is one of the biggest reasons our customers come back to us — and refer their friends and family.
Poor packing is the number one cause of damage during a move. Cracked crockery, scratched furniture, broken electronics — these are almost always the result of inadequate packing, not rough roads. When you hand your belongings to a mover, the packing is your last line of defence.
Many budget movers use the minimum possible packing material to cut costs. A single layer of bubble wrap around fragile items, loose items in boxes with no void fill, furniture wrapped in old newspapers. This is why damage claims are so common in the moving industry.
Every fragile item — glassware, crockery, showpieces — is wrapped individually in packing paper, then bubble wrap, then placed in a box with foam peanut void fill. We use double-walled cardboard boxes for extra rigidity.
All wooden furniture is wrapped in moving blankets and sealed with stretch film before being loaded onto the vehicle. This protects against scratches, moisture, and dust during transit.
TVs, computers, home theatre systems, and other electronics are packed in anti-static bubble wrap and custom-fit boxes. We photograph all wire connections before disassembly so reassembly is quick and hassle-free.
All cartons are wrapped in a final layer of plastic stretch film — protecting against moisture, rain, and dust during loading, unloading, and transit.
Our Basic, Economic, and Premium packages offer different levels of packing quality to suit every budget. Our Premium package includes the highest-grade materials and priority handling. See our packages here.
